Workshops & Trainings
Available as one-off sessions, a series of 3, or a series of 5 — tailored to your team's needs and pace.
AI 101: What It Is and Isn’t
A clear, practical introduction to artificial intelligence without hype or technical jargon. The session explains how modern AI — especially large language models (LLMs) — actually work, what they’re good at, and where they fall short. Participants learn the basics of effective prompting, see examples of how AI can support everyday work tasks, and develop a shared language for discussing the technology. The workshop also addresses common concerns — including accuracy, bias, privacy, and labor impacts — so teams can engage thoughtfully rather than feeling pressured to adopt blindly. By the end, participants have a realistic understanding of the current AI landscape and practical skills to begin using AI tools more effectively.
AI 201: Prompt Excellence
A deep dive into what makes a great prompt for any of the major AI chatbots. Participants learn frameworks and techniques for getting consistently better results, moving beyond trial-and-error to systematic, effective prompting.
AI 301: Managing Agents
An introduction to the difference between tasks and conversations, featuring hands-on experience with tools like Claude Code, Cowork, ChatGPT Codex, and other agentic AI systems that can take autonomous action on your behalf.
AI Culture of Experimentation
A bridge from foundational understanding to values-aligned experimentation and culture change. This workshop focuses on how mission-driven organizations can engage AI in ways consistent with their mission, principles, and responsibility to the communities they serve. Rather than centering adoption for its own sake, the session creates space to name skepticism, ideological tension, and legitimate concerns — including risk, power, identity, environmental impact, and the pace of change — while building a shared foundation for thoughtful experimentation. Participants develop a realistic understanding of what AI can and cannot do, explore why experimentation is necessary even amid uncertainty, and learn how to run small, values-aligned experiments safely. The workshop introduces practical learning structures — shared prompts, documentation, and learning loops — that prioritize collective insight, transparency, and organizational alignment.
